Lounging Beautifully

If a piece of furniture could encapsulate this moment, then the chaise lounge would be it. Melding the support of a chair with the relaxing properties of a bed, the chaise seems particularly suited to our current WFH syncopations. Whether placed in public or private, a chaise enables both working and unwinding. The perfect nap-in-place piece.

Cue the latest addition to our succinctly custom Signature 22 collection: the Albright Chaise. Since launching our line, the Teton Chaise has been a staple in many of our clients’ homes. Building on that silhouette’s success, we designed a stretched-out version of our exceedingly cozy Albright Chair. Constructed to follow the natural curvature of the spine, the Albright supports with a segmented arc of (goose and duck) down-filled cushions. Meanwhile, stained walnut arms accent the sustainably-sourced wrought iron frame. Upholstered in sturdy linen weaves, the chaise is as easy to clean as it is to style.  

Ever attuned to function, we predict the new Albright Chaise will become a hub for connection and contemplation in whatever corner it occupies. We imagine kids curling up on its graceful slope as parents prop with their computers or tables against its backrest. Teens could pile in pairs and peruse a magazine. Or a single could snuggle with a favorite read. No matter the scenario, the Albright Chaise welcomes lounging beautifully—our enduring credo.
